Regional meetings and activities during 2021

• At the invitation of the International Center for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED), the Audit Bureau participated in the symposium held in cooperation with (iCED) and (WGEA) entitled (Biodiversity), which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period 22-24 / 2 / 2021. The Bureau was represented by:-

1-Mrs. Ahlam Qamar al-Din in this symposium.

• The Audit Bureau participated in a Sharaka working group meeting held via visual communication technology (online) on 2/17/2021. The Bureau was represented by:

1- Ruba Haddadin / Head of Department.

2- Atallah Al-Stoul / Head of Department.

• The Audit Bureau participated in the scientific meeting on (Big Data and its impact on reports) organized by the Sudanese SAI, which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period 18-22 / 1/2021. The Bureau was represented by:-

1. Mrs. Najah Shreim / the Director of the Directorate of the Public Revenue and Economy Sector Audit.

• The Audit Bureau participated in the symposium held by INTOSAI under the title (Plenary session of the Working Group on Environmental Auditing ) of INTOSAI, which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period 19-21 / 12/2020, The Bureau was represented by:-

6. The Audit Bureau participated in the Seventy-Ninth meeting of the Journal of Financial Control Committee of the ARABOSAI, which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period from 11-14 / 1/2021, The Bureau was represented by

7. The Audit Bureau participated in a lecture on (Implications of the COVID-19 Pandemic Challenges and Expected Areas of Focus in Financial Audit), which was organized by (ARABOSAI) on 12/28/2020 via visual communication technology (online) the Bureau was represented by

• The Audit Bureau participated in the symposium organized by the Korean SAI entitled (The Role of SAIs in Confronting Crises and Disasters) via visual communication technology (online) during the period from 1-26 / 28/2021. The Bureau was represented by

9. The Audit Bureau participated in the training meeting organized by the Moroccan SAI on SDGs, which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period 21-24/12/2020. The Bureau was represented by

 The colleagues presented a worksheet on the Audit Bureau's experience in this area entitled "Government Readiness".

10. The Audit Bureau participated in a workshop on linking the relationship between the SAIs and donors which was held via visual communication technology (online) during the period from 7-10 / 12/2020. The Bureau was represented by

11. The Audit Bureau participated in (ASOSAI Seminar 2020), which was held via visual communication technology (online) in two stages, the first on 11/10/2021 and the second phase during the period from 1-4 / 12/2020. The Bureau was represented by

Regional meetings and activities during 2020

• The Audit Bureau participated in the meeting held by the Dutch Court of Accounts (within the Sharaka program), which was held via visual communication technology (online) on 29 September 2020, during the meeting, which was attended by eight countries, presentations on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were presented by the Jordanian Audit Bureau on the third goal of the SDGs (Health) and the Audit Bureau were represented by:

1.  Atallah Al-Stoul - Head of Public Relations Division
2.  RubaHaddadin - Head of Quality Assurance Division

•  Upon the invitation of the International Center for Environmental Audit and Sustainable Development (ICED), the Audit Bureau participated on 9/23/2020 in the international symposium on (Climate Change and its Effects on Sustainable Development) which was held via visual communication technology (remotely).
•  His Excellency Ibrahim Almajali, Secretary-General of the Audit Bureau, participated in the introductory session of the Impact Assessment Policy Guide.The meeting was opened with a speech by the Prime Minister, Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz, who stressed the His Majesty the King's directives to the government to learn from the lessons of the past and improve its performance in order to serve citizens.The meeting, which was held last Saturday 9/19/2020 via visual communication technology (remotely), was attended by the general secretaries of the ministries, directors of government institutions, the ambassador of the European Union in Amman, and the General Director of supporting management and good governance project  that is supported by the European Union (Sigma).
• The Audit Bureau remotely (virtual meeting) participated in the meeting of the Environmental Working Group of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) entitled (Launching the Green Vision Award), which was held on 7/9/2020, where the Bureau was represented by: -

1. Mr. Ibrahim Alshawabkah – Director of the Performance & Environmental Audit Directorate.
2. Mr. Mahmoud Alghazawi – Head of Section of the Performance & Environmental Audit Directorate.

• The Audit Bureau remotely (virtual meeting) participated in the annual meeting of the Public Debt Group entitled "The Role of Supreme Audit Institutions in Auditing Public Debt under the Corona Pandemic on 26/8/2020, where the Bureau was represented by Dr. Bilal Okasheh, Assistant Secretary General - Technical Affairs and Director of the Companies Audit & Final Accounts Directorate.
• 
• The Audit Bureau participated in the Journal Affairs Committee meeting which was held remotely during the period 6- 9 of July 2020, where the Bureau was represented by Mrs. Njah Shraim the Director of the Public Revenue & Economy Sector Audit Directorate.
• Participation in the seminar (The Impact of the Covid-19 Crisis on the Role of the Arab SAI in Auditing the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda), which was held remotely on 2nd of July 2020, where the Bureau was represented by Ms. Alaa Al-Hayajneh and Mrs. Ohood Al-Eifan from the  Performance & Environmental Audit Directorate.
• The Audit Bureau participated in the special meeting of the SDGs Auditing Committee, which was held remotely on the 21st of May, 2020, where the Bureau was represented by Ms. Alaa Al-Hayajneh and Mrs. Ohood Al-Eifan from the Performance & Environmental Audit Directorate.
• The Audit Bureau participated in the sixteenth meeting of the Institutional Capacity Building Committee, which was held remotely on the Al-Eifan.
• The Audit Bureau participated in the fifteenth meeting of the Institutional Capacity Building Committee, which was held in the Oman during the period 9-12 of February 2020, where the Bureau was represented by the head of the Audit unit, Mr. Waleed Al-Dabbas.
• The Audit Bureau participated in the fourteenth meeting of the Professional Standards and Audit Committee, which was held in Qatar during the period 3-6 of February 2020, where the Bureau was represented by the Head of Section Mr. Hasan Dandashleh and Mr. Mohammad Al-Awaideh.

• The International Conference on Fighting Corruption in Asia, which was convened in Doha, Qatar 9-11/6/2008.
• Study tour to the German Supreme Audit Institutions.
• The European Arab Meeting.
• The 39th meeting of the ASOSAI Governing Board which was held from 18-20 November 2008 in Lahore, Pakistan.
• The 40th meeting of the ARABOSAI Governing Board which was held from 3-4 February 2008 in Kuwait.
• Study tour to the Audit Bureau of Kuwait.
• The Training and Scientific Research meeting of ARABOSAI.

Hosting of training events in Jordan

The Audit Bureau of Jordan has hosted a number of training events in Jordan during 2008, including:

• The 38th Meeting of the Training and Scientific Research Committee of ARABOSAI which was held in 18-19/12/2008 in the Movenpick Hotel Dead Sea.
• The 41 meeting of the ARABOSAI Governing Board which was held from 20-21 December 2008 in Amman.
